Let's see...how could we develop a scientific method to come to a conclusion on gods existence ? Well like I mentioned before, we first have to make a guess. And notjust any guess, but a guess with a level of concreteness, something that could give us hope through this journey. I was born and brought up in a hindu household, which is why I would start the topic with that perspective as it is easier to relate to. Various predictions have been made in Vedic literature that have been seen to occur in recent times. The birth of Jesus Christ, Gautam Buddha, Prophet Muhammad etc. I have heard of similar predictions in other literature, but for the sake of simplicity I will be sticking to one. I would like to share my two cents on this "subtopic" and attempt to provide some form of "evidence" to support the concreteness of this knowledge. Hindu mythology speaks of permanent liberation from the cycle of life and death. The stay of a being in heaven or hell is also temporary. In theology, a biblical paradise known as garden of Eden is spoken of, where sickness and death were unknown, trees pleasant to sight and good food was present. Heaven and hell are considered to be different from this paradise, fromwhat I understood from my friends in the field of Theology. Parallel concepts exist in Persian and Greek mythology. If we look closely, all of these consist of a blissful realm, a realm of heaven and hell. Of course, there also exists other planes of existence as told in such vedic literature and there are probably correspondences of such planes in other literature as well. Another case, is lord Vishnus Matsya avatar. It is known that lord Vishnu appeared in this form to save the world from a great flood as told in the story of Manu. Theology speaks of Noahs arc, the Quran speaks of Nuh. We can see that similar principles exist in different cultures with minor modifications (which would have probably been for the best considering the range of perspectives people have). The possibility of these similarities being sheer coincidence is very unlikely. Furthermore, the existence of these scriptures over large periods of time is something to fathom upon. This gives us hope to pursue this knowledge and one day understand what is considered surreal today. Now before we understand the consequences of the guess, we need to first understand that there are phenomenon that cannot be experienced through our senses. The simplest example is the field of theoretical physics, wherin there exists multitude theories that hold true theoretically but may not be proven experimentally in todays age. If it is hard to consider that there could exist phenomenon beyond our sense perception, we can at the very least start our scientific method with an assumption. Let us assume there are phenomenon that cannot be percieved through out senses. There are also additional assumptions that are to be made, but that will be handled the time they are required. For now, this is sufficient.
